Following a much-lauded summer album release, ‘La Mer’“The performance is beguiling… The playing is as idiomatic as it is virtuosic.” (The Strad) - the Neave Trio’s new season chapter includes the US and UK premieres of Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Jennifer Higdon’s new trio, ‘Vivid Green and Zesty Orange’, as well the group’s London debut at Kings Place in two dramatically programmed concerts, one featuring tango dancers – dance being a notable hallmark of the Neave’s many innovative collaborations (see ‘Rising’).

Alongside its mini-residency at Kings Place, the Grammy-nominated trio will unveil the next release in its series for Chandos highlighting female composers. This next album in the series, following on from ‘Roots’, ‘A Room of her Own’ and ‘Her Voice’, will feature trios by pianist composers Clara Schumann, Dora Pejačević and Cécile Chaminade.

Additionally, the trio and the team at Percius are thrilled to be collaborating with Colbert Artists Management who have newly been appointed as the Neave’s General Management team, as well as Primo Artists for its PR.

Katie Backus notes: “It is an absolute pleasure to share that the Neave Trio is joining the Colbert Artists roster. Anna, Misha, and Eri are such a joy to work with in every way – from the rich, warm sound to the ease with which they connect with audiences. I’ve enjoyed getting to know the Trio already and it was clear from our first conversation that we are completely aligned with our vision for music-making in the 21st Century.”

“We are absolutely thrilled to be joining the Colbert Artists roster. From our very first meeting with Katie and Lee, it was clear that their team shares our passion for creating meaningful musical experiences and building deep connections with audiences. We are grateful to Katie Backus and the entire Colbert team for welcoming us so wholeheartedly, and we are so inspired as we look forward to this new exciting chapter together.” - Neave Trio

Forged out of friendship and honed by passion, the Neave Trio has earned enormous praise for its engaging, cutting-edge performances, innovative collaborations and its championing of works by living composers. The Neave Trio is passionate about connecting with audiences on and off stage through their dazzling performances and disarming charisma. As this new chapter begins for the trio, the group is delighted to be continuing its residency serving as the inaugural Ensemble-in-Residence at Virginia Commonwealth University (since 2023) as well as continuing its residency at Wartburg College.
