Vivaldi wins votes! BBC Music Magazine Awards 2016

We’re thrilled to announce that Rachel Podger and Brecon Baroque’s Vivaldi L’Estro Armonico recording for Channel Classics has won the concerto category of the BBC Music Magazine Awards 2016.

Rachel Podger sent her acceptance message from The Juilliard School where she is currently working: “Winning the concerto category of the 2016 BBC Music Magazine Awards with Brecon Baroque is an amazing and wonderful thing, I can't quite believe we’ve won! Brecon Baroque and I are very grateful to all those who voted for our recording.”

Winners of the BBC Music Magazine Awards were announced at a ceremony at Kings Place on 5 April 2016 and will appear in the May edition of BBC Music Magazine.
